Location and history of the Dome
• Le Dôme is located in the small historic village of Tignes les Boisses, perched at an altitude of 1850m.
• In the history of the station, the Dome dates from the construction of the dam.
• Since the 1950s, the hotel has obviously undergone successive renovations and modifications,
• Today, it is classified 2 stars. - ranking renewed in July 2022
Initially equipped to accommodate more than 50 people, we have continued to reduce the capacity, which is now 19 people divided into 10 rooms on 2 floors.
Here you will find the calm of a small mountain village, in winter at the foot of a large ski area: Tignes & Val d'Isère.
And in summer, we are at the start of hikes in the Vanoise park.
The rooms
The 10 rooms are distributed as follows:
1st floor (no elevator)

• Bedroom 3 - Triple room (maximum occupancy 2 adults + 1 child or 1 adult + 2 children)

• Bedroom 7 – double bedroom

• Room 10 - single room
All rooms are equipped with a bathroom, WC, hairdryer, TV, free Wi-Fi internet; South, East or West exposure with views of the mountain or the village.

• Ideal location for skiing: The village is at the foot of the slopes; you ski to the hotel using the blue Les Mélèzes slope, and the start is 200 meters from the hotel, and gives access to a recent gondola; Boisses cable cars.
In 2 ski lifts (1 gondola and 1 chairlift) you will be in the center of Tignes.
From the center of Tignes le lac, just one chairlift is enough to return on skis. You can always opt for a departure and return using the station's free shuttle service, the stop being located 200 m from the hotel.
